As always, let the wall painting begin with a storm gushing through white vows.
Just randomly went up to the care taker, at the place I was staying, and told him that I’d like to paint a Tamil word on a wall, and he let me 🙂
“Painting is just another way of keeping a diary.”
― Pablo Picasso.
The most fantastic quote I’ve come across.
Finally… “AMAIDHI” which means “PEACEFULLY QUIET” in Tamil. Took help from my mom before I left for Rameshwaram and found out that it just spoke about my entire trip in just one word. Sometimes its just meant to be.
“Does not everything depend on our interpretation of the silence around us?” Silence may be of two sorts I felt. One is actually making peace with yourself, the other can be silence, but loud in the head (as told by a friend).
“The quieter you become, the more you can hear, like a goat’s bleat…”
The amazing person (in the white shirt) who just let me paint the wall 🙂
“He who does not understand your silence will probably not understand your words.”
― Elbert Hubbard
After a while, we saw the people of the house, sitting and gossiping next to the wall. they were using it like a landmark, I felt 🙂
Thank you 🙂
